Resolution 79-16027 RESOLUTION NO. 79-16027 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ASKING ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY, NOT TO EMPLOY MR. ALAN PORTER AND/OR MALL TRANSPORT IN ANY CAPACITY. WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach found it necessary to terminate its contracts for mall transportation and sightseeing with Mall Transport, Inc. due to the failure of Mall Transport, Inc. to fulfill its obligations under these contracts; and WHEREAS, Mall Transport, Inc. is not attempting to make settlement regarding amounts past due to the City of Miami Beach under these contracts; and WHEREAS, Mr . Alan Porter is the majority stockholder and owner of record of the corporation; and WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Commission of the City of Miami Beach that Mr. Alan Porter is trying to negotiate a similar tram service contract with Atlantic City, New Jersey: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH: That the City ask Atlantic City, New Jersey, not to employ Mr. Alan Porter and/or Mall Transport, Inc. in any capacity.
