Resolution 77-15398 RESOLUTION NO. 77-15398
Canvassing returns of Election held July 26, 1977 to elect a regular member from
Group 2 of the City Employees to serve on the Personnel Board.
WHEREAS , there has been submitted to the City Council of
Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors
who conducted the Primary Election held on July 19, 1977 , for
the purpose of ncminating two candidates to be placed on the
ballot at an election held on July 26, 1977 , for the pur-
pose of electing a Regular member from Group 2 of City
employees to serve on the Personnel Board; and
WHEREAS , there has also been submitted the Certificate of
the Clerk and Inspectors who conducted said Election held on
July 26, 1977 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it does hereby adopt the said
Certificate as the result of said Election held on July 26, 1977
, and does hereby declare James D. Ahearn to be
elected to the Personnel Board to represent City Employees in
Group 2 .

We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify
that we held and conducted an election of the members of Group 2
of the employees of the City of Miami Beach, at the
City Clerks office. 1130 Washington RvA„ on July 26, 1977
for the purpose of electing a member of the PersonneJ Bpard to
represent Group 2 ; that at the close of the polls we proceeded to
open the ballot box and count the ballots, and found the result of
said Election as conducted by us to be as follows, which result we
then publicly proclaimed.
That there was a total of 122 votes cast.
77 votes were cast for James D. Ahearn
45 votes were cast for Walter W. Erickson
