A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AND EVENTOS, INC.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with EVENTOS, INC. , dated July 13 , 1976, as amended, and
WHEREAS , said EVENTOS, INC. has requested an amendment to
said existing lease agreement to provide that they will release the
dates of July 1-20, 1977 and instead will use the dates of December
12-28 , 1977 as follows:
December 12-14, 1977 Move In
December 15-24 , 1977 Show
December 25 to 1 : 00 p.m.
December 28 , 1977 Move Out
and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, except dates of payments will be
as follows:
Two Thousand Dollars ($2 ,000. 00) additional
deposit to be paid with the signing of this
lease amendment, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged; Eight Thousand Dollars ($8 ,000 . 00)
payable on or before October 12 , 1977; and any
balance, payable by 5 : 00 p.m. , January 4 , 1978,
and
WHEREAS, a letter signed by the Director of the Miami Beach
Convention Center, dated May 16, 1977, amending the existing agree-
ment between the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and EVENTOS, INC. has been mailed
to and accepted by said EVENTOS, INC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the said amendment as set forth
in said letter dated May 16, 1977, signed by the Director of the
Miami Beach Convention Center, to the existing agreement between the
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and EVENTOS, INC. be and the same is hereby
accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of August , 1977 .
