A RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT
WITH THE BOSTON COMPANY OF THE SOUTHEAST, INVEST-
MENT COUNSEL FOR THE MIAMI BEACH EMPLOYEES RETIRE-
MENT SYSTEM TO THE INVESTMENT COUNSEL COMPANY OF
THE SOUTHEAST.
WHEREAS , the Miami Beach Employees Retirement System
presently has an agreement with the Boston Company of the South-
east to serve as its investment counsel, and
WHEREAS , said Board of Trustees has been advised of
the request of the Boston Company of the Southeast to assign
its investment counsel agreement to the Investment Counsel
Company of the Southeast, and
WHEREAS , said Board of Trustees has now recommended
that the assignment of said contract be approved by the Council
pursuant to the recommendation as set forth in Council Memo-
randum No. 6496 , incorporated by reference herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the proposal as set forth in the communication directed to the
City of Miami Beach, Florida under date of May 25 , 1977, as
incorporated by reference herein;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the disbursing officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to pay out such
sums of money as the City is obligated to pay out under the terms
of said proposal to the Investment Counsel Company of the South-
east from the funds of the City available for such purpose.

Please indicate your consent to the transfer of your agreement with
The Boston Company of the Southeast, dated July 1, 1976 , to The
Investment Counsel Company of the Southeast by signing this letter and
returning it to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope. A copy
is enclosed for your records. Your consent will also authorize transfer
to us from The Boston Company of the Southeast the records necessary to
serve your account.
