A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING A
ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE EXISTING SIGHT-
SEEING FRANCHISE AGREEMENT, CONDITIONED ON
MALL TRANSPORT'S MEETING ITS MONTHLY PAYMENTS
TO REDUCE PRESENT AMOUNTS OWED TO THE CITY
UNDER THE EXISTING CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, Mall Transport, Inc. provides a public service
which might terminate unless a one-year extension of its sight-
seeing franchise is granted; and,
WHEREAS , such an extension has been approved and
recommended by the administration; and,
WHEREAS , Mall Transport, Inc. has agreed to make monthly
payments to reduce its debt to the City as quickly as possible:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That a one-year extension of the existing sight-seeing
franchise agreement be authorized, conditioned on Mall Transport' s
meeting its monthly payments to reduce amounts owed to the City
under the existing contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 1977.
