A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND MIAMI DESIGN
PRESERVATION LEAGUE FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR
THE PREPARATION OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION ANALYSIS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has determined that it is necessary to enter into an
agreement with Miami Design Preservation League to provide con-
sultant services and preparation of a Historic Preservation analysis
for the City, and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared between the City
of Miami Beach and Miami Design Preservation League for the services
to be provided in connection with said Historic Preservation
analysis, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has approved the agreement as
to form and the City Manager has recommended to the City Commission
that said agreement be entered into, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
is familiar with the provisions of said agreement, a copy of which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City, its residents and
citizens to enter into said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the said agreement in the name of and on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach, and the disbursing officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to disburse the monies required by the
terms of said agreement from funds of the City available for such
purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 1977 .
