A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO
AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 SO AS
TO PERMIT APARTMENT-HOTELS WITH 100 OR
MORE SLEEPING UNITS TO HAVE THE SAME
ACCESSORY USES AS PERMITTED IN HOTELS
WITH 100 OR MORE SLEEPING UNITS .
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach,
at a Public Hearing held on October 26 , 1977 , approved a proposed
amendment to the City' s Zoning Ordinance No. 1891, whereby Section
7-3 (B) 5 be amended so as to permit Apartment-Hotels with 100 or
more sleeping units to have the same accessory uses as permitted
in Hotels with 100 or more sleeping units, and
WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly
transmitted to the City Commission pursuant to Section 16 of said
Zoning Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public Hearing for the
consideration of said proposed amendment to said Zoning Ordinance
is hereby called to be held before the City Commission at its
Chambers in the Cypress Room of the Miami Beach Convention Center,
Miami Beach, Florida, beginning at the hour of 3: 00 p.m. , on the
21st day of December, 1977, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to publish an appropriate Public Notice of said
Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested
parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of November, 1977 .
