A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EYTENSION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH BURROUGHS CORPORATION FOR
ONE YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980 , FOR
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CITY'S
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach is desirous of extending
the existing agreement with the Burroughs Corporation to provide
maintenance service for the City' s computer equipment, which was
heretofore purchased from Burroughs; and
WHEREAS, a determination has been made whereby the cost
of said service and maintenance of all the components of the Burroughs
Computer System of the City' s Management Information Systems Division
will total $25, 565 . 00 for the fiscal year of 1979/1980 , as set forth
and described in Commission Memorandum No. 7856, dated November 21,
1979 ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that said agreement be and the same
is hereby extended for the fiscal year of 1979/1980;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION that the
City Clerk be directed to deliver to said Burroughs Corporation a
signed copy of this Resolution as approved by the City Commission
on the date hereinafter designated, as evidence of the renewal of
said agreement for the 1979/1980 fiscal year.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1979 .

Dear Tom;
I have again written to our M.A. Billing for a detail of your M.A. charges,
which became due October 1, 1979. These charges became due automatically
and no contract needs to be entered into. Your old M.A. Agreement is still
in effect but is adjusted annually in amount.
Since your M.A. is now S months delinquent, I can't give you a breakdown
myself as the prices I have now were not in effect back in October.
