A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF
APPROXIMATELY $1, 800. 00 IN MONIES FROM THE NORTH
SHORE TENNIS ASSOCIATION, TO BE USED FOR IMPROVE-
MENTS TO THE NORTH SHORE TENNIS CENTER.
WHEREAS, the North Shore Tennis Association held a Flea
Market to raise approximately $1, 800. 00 for improvements to the
North Shore Tennis Center; and
WHEREAS , this gesture of positive community support in
improving recreation facilities is both admirable and helpful in
our current econ cmic posture;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City accept monies
raised, and that said monies be used expressly for the purchase
of furniture , fixtures, equipment or garden items , selected by
the Association, at the best available price.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of December , 1979.
