A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE
SOUTH FLORIDA EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING CONSORTIUM TO
PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A DIVISION OF INTERGOVERNMENTAL
LIAISON AND COORDINATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, by its Resolution 78-15792,
adopted December 6, 1978 entered into a Consortium Agreement with the
governments of Dade and Monroe Counties, and the Cities of Miami and
Hialeah, and designating the City Manager as official representative to
said Consortium, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution is in full force and effect, and
WHEREAS, said Consortium at its September 12, 1979 meeting,
approved funding for its member jurisdictions to continue to support
Intergovernmental Coordination and Liaison staffs, and
WHEREAS, the execution of a Professional Service Agreement with
said Consortium is recommended by the City Manager, and said agreement
has been approved by the City Attorney as to legal form and sufficiency,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager be, and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute and deliver said Agreement, a copy of which is
attached hereto, for and in the name of the City of Miami Beach.

PURCHASE OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made the 2nd day of January , in the year 19 80
by and between The South Florida Employment & Training Consortium, by
its Executive Director, and the City of Miami Beach, by its City Manager,
is hereby authorized for services as stated herein:
1) The City of Miami Beach shall provide liaison services as
described in the attached narrative.
THE PARTIES hereto further agree to the following conditions:
1) The Miami Beach City Manager shall select and appoint the necessary_
staff to perform such services. said staff will be compensated by J
the City .of Miami Beach.
2) The ,South Florida Employment and Training Consortium shall reimburse
the City of Miami Beach for said services.
THIS AGREEMENT shall be in effect during the periods) October 1, 1979
through September 30 1980
and shall provide for maximum compensation, from the South Florida
Employment and Training Consortium to the City of Miami Beach
of $54,357 , Fifty-four Thousand, Three Hundred Fifty-seven do l.lars_,
payable from Budget Code No. 502880 pursuant to the terms of
this agreement.
BEING DULY signed, the execution of this agreement is in conformance
with Resolution 9-12-79-16 adopted by the South Florida Employment
& Training Consortium on the 12th day of September __, 19 79
a copy of which is attached to and made a part of this agreement.
