Resolution 80-16157 RESOLUTION NO. 80-1615' ' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ACCEPTING AN INTER- GOVERNMENTAL PERSONNEL GRANT FOR A SAFETY TRAINING/LOSS PREVENTION PROGRAM FUNDED BY THE U.S. CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION WITH CERTAIN IN-KIND MATCHING CITY FUNDS. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has applied for an intergovernmental Personnel Grant with the U.S. Civil Service Com- mission for the funding of a Safety Training/Loss Prevention Program and, WHEREAS, the U.S. Civil Service Commission has approved said application, as referenced by letter dated November 16, 1979 addressed to the City Manager. WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended acceptance of the grant and has accepted same pending approval by the City Commis- sion. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the execution of said Grant acceptance by the City Manager is hereby ratified and confirmed.
