A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH WIDELL ASSOCIATES,
INC. REGARDING PUMP STATION 23.
WHEREAS, for the reasons set forth by the City
Manager and City Attorney, the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, deems it in the best interest of
the City to enter into a settlement agreement, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agree-
ment and releases in favor of Widell Associates, Inc. , Malcolm
Pirnie, Inc. , Ray L. Hart & Associates, Inc. , E. D. Greene
Corp. , Patterson Pump Co. , Aetna Life & Casualty and Saint Paul
Fire & Marine Insurance Company on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, said releases to be executed and held by the
City Attorney until such time as he deems it appropriate to
deliver each such release which may be prior to the time speci-
fied in the agreement if necessary to effectuate the settlement.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of January , 1980.
