A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT
WITH HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC. , FOR USE OF THE NORTH
AND SOUTH HALLS OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON
JANUARY 2-6 , 1981 (NORTH HALL) and SEPTEMBER 18-22, 1981
(SOUTH HALL) .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
HELEN BRETT ENTERPRISES, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER - WINTER SHOW
SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER - SUMMER SHOW
for the event known as :
TWO GIFT SHOWS
on
JANUARY 2-6 , 1981 - NORTH HALL
SEPTEMBER 18-22 , 1981 - SOUTH HALL
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate lease agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Centcr Director and approved as to
approved
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement
and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize
the execution of the said lease agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above-described lease agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of February , 1980 .
