A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH FLAGSHIP NATIONAL BANK OF
MIAMI FOR USE OF PARKING SPACES IN OFF-STREET
PARKING LOT 10A ( 17TH STREET AND LENOX AVENUE) ,
FROM FEBRUARY 17 , 1980 , to FEBRUARY 16 , 1981.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
by its Resolution No. 12800 ,passed and adopted the 16th day of
July, 1969 , did authorize the execution of an Agreement with
Flagship National Bank of Miami Beach , now known as Flagship
National Bank of Miami,for the use of parking spaces in Off-Street
Parking Lot 10A ( 17th Street and Lenox Avenue) for a period of
one year; and as amended from time to time for additional one-year
periods; and
WHEREAS, during the period said Agreement was in effect ,
the Flagship Bank has performed all services specified in said
Agreement in a totally satisfactory manner; and
WHEREAS , the extension of said Agreement provides that
the Bank shall have the use of thirty-one (31) off-street parking
spaces for the one-year period from February 17 , 1980 , through
February 16, 1981, upon the terms, conditions , and provisions
set forth therein ; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interests of the City that such Agreement be entered into by and
between the City and said Bank; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an appropriate
Agreement of extension containing such terms , conditions , and
provisions with which the City Commission is familiar ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said Agreement of extension for and on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach , Florida.

Dear Ms. Matthews:
This will acknowledge your letter of February 14, 1980, extending
our lease on Lot 10A for a period of one year.
We wish to cancel this lease agreement with the City effective
May 1st, 1980. Please bill us for the period of time that we have
had use of the parking lot.
