A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH DR. PHILIP GREENBERG FOR SERVICES
AS A CONSULTING PSYCHIATRIST FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH.
WHEREAS, for the reasons more particularly set forth in
Commission Memorandum No. 7683, the City Commission of the City of
Miami Beach deems it in the best interests of the citizens of Miami
Beach to enter into an agreement with Dr. Philip Greenberg, a
Psychiatrist M.D. , the terms of which are familiar to the City
Commission and which contract is included in the agenda package
for the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted; and
WHEREAS , the City Attorney has approved same as to form
and legal sufficiency;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager and City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to enter into said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of February , 1980.

SUBJECT: CONTRACT - DR. PHILLIP GREENBERG J PSYCHIATRIST
The attached contract has been revised to include
the remarks and conditions stated at the Commission
meeting of February 20, 1980. The changes are:
1. Provision of malpractice insurance by
the City is deleted. Dr. Grossman
indicated that Dr. Greenberg will provide
same.
2 . The contract document presented to the
Commission had no starting date. During
discussion, Dr. Grossman indicated that
Dr. Greenberg had been working without
renumeration since January 1. The date
proposed is January 1, 1980 as recommended
by Dr. Grossman . The term is for one year .
If you concur with the above, please forward the
original contract document to the City Clerk for pro-
cessing
