RESOLUTION NO. 80-16257
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN
IMPREST CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION WITH
INTERCONTINENTAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH: AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 79-15966.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the creation of an "Imprest
Checking Account for Social Services Division" with the Intercontinental Bank
of Miami Beach, in the amount of $2,000.00, for the purpose of making payments
for assistance to the needy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. An Imprest Checking Account in the amount of $2,000.00 b e
established at the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach.
2. That the four following employees be authorized to sign
assistance payment check and that two signatures be required.
R. G. Rodriguez or Hal Cohen must sign each check with one
other signature.
(a) R. G. Rodriguez
(b) Hal Cohen
(c) Frances Katz
(d) Edward Lavin
3. That the maximum amount to be paid by such checks be $25.00.
4. That a full accounting be rendered by the Social Services
Division each time reimbursement of the Imprest Checking
Account is requested.
5. That checks be prepared to create two record keeping and
auditing copies.
6. That Resolution No. 79-15966, adopted on the 18th day of
July, 1979, be and the same is hereby repealed.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of AHril , 1980.

SUBJECT: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AN IMPRE ST
CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR SOCIAL SERVICES DIVISION WITH INTERCONTINENTAL
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 79-15966.
The attached agreement repeals Resolution No. 79-15966 and continues the
creation and maintenance of an Imprest Checking Account for the Social Services
Division with the Intercontinental Bank of Miami Beach. It will correct the
names of employees authorized to sign checks.
RECOMMENDATION:
The administration recommends that the Commission approve the attached agreement,
so that continuity in this Imprest Checking Account can be carried out.
