A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AMENDMENT
FOR USE OF THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER BY ANHEUSER-BUSCH
ON OCTOBER 1-9, 1980 .
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
ANHEUSER-BUSCH
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
DECEMBER 19, 1979
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to wit:
THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
INDUSTRIAL SHOW
on
OCTOBER 1-9, 1980
and
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 8251 , a copy
of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof ,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and on behalf of
the CITY.

1979 between Anheuser-Busch, Lessee, and the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, Lessor, for your Industrial Show, whereby you will add use of
Rooms 102 and 103 in South Hail of the Miami Beach Convention Center
�..� October 4-8, 1980,to said contract at an additional cost of Four
Thousand and no/100 ($4,ouo.00) Dollars based on Eight Hundred and no/100
( boo.00) Dollars per day which includes eight (8) hours per day maximum
air conditioning, thereby making the payment due on August 1 , 1980,
Eleven Thousand and no/100 ( 1l ,000.00) Dollars instead of Seven Thousand
and no/100 (07,000.00) Dollars as stipulated therein.
All other terms and conditions of the existing Agreement to remain the same.
