SUBJECT: MBPD COMMUNITY SEXUAL ACSAULT AWARENESS EVENT
This Letter to the Mayor and City Commission is to extend an invitation to attend the
Miami Beach Police Department's Community Sexual Assault Awareness Event on April
15, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to noon in the Major James Smith Community Room located on
the first floor of the MBPD headquarters building at 1100 Washington Avenue.
The month of April has been designated as sexual assault awareness month as part of
an initiative to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities
on how to prevent it. Please see the attached flyer publicizing the event.
