Resolution 80-16320 RESOLUTION NO. 80-16320
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VISITOR
AND CONVENTION AUTHORITY TO RENOVATE, REMODEL,
UTILIZE AND MAINTAIN THE KIOSKS LOCATED ON LINCOLN
ROAD AT THE CORNER OF WASHINGTON AVENUE; AND ON
LINCOLN ROAD NEAR DREXEL AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Kiosks located on the corner of Lincoln Road
and Washington Avenue, and on Lincoln Road near Drexel Avenue have
been neglected and have become rundown ; and
WHEREAS , the Visitor and Convention Authority desires to
convert the Kiosks into useful informational centers ; and
WHEREAS, the Visitor and Convention Authority desires that
all of the citizenry of Miami Beach have the opportunity to partake
in the use of said Kiosks;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Kiosks located on
Lincoln Road be placed under the control , supervision, and at the
expense of the Visitor and Convention Authority for the purpose of
renovating, remodeling, utilizing and maintaining the same.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 1980.
