RESOLUTION NO. 80-16399
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
WITH EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC. ,
FOR THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRICAL SERVICES IN
THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER ON SEPTEMBER 29-October 9, 1980.
WHEREAS , the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that
EDLEN ELECTRICAL EXHIBITION SERVICES, INC.
desires to furnish electrical services for certain premises and fac-
ilities of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
during the event known as:
ANHEUSER-BUSCH INDUSTRIAL SHOW
on
SEPTEMBER 29-OCTOBER 9, 1980
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared by the
Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to form by the
City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agreement and
deems it to be in the best interest of the City to authorize the ex-
ecution of the said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-
described agreement on behalf of the City, and that the Miami
Beach Convention Center Director be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of October , 1980.
