A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
ADMINISTRATION TO SEEK COUNTY DECADE OF
PROGRESS BOND FUNDS FOR THE WASHINGTON AVENUE
REVITALIZATION PROJECT FROM 5th TO 17th
STREETS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
has adopted a Revitalization Plan for Washington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach desires to construct
specified public improvements as part of the Revitalization Plan
for Washington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has prepared detailed
plans and specifications for said public improvements to
Washington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, $1,700 ,000 in Dade County Decade of Progress
Bond Funds is available for public improvements within the City of
Miami Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the
Administration is hereby authorized and directed to request
funding from the Decade of Progress Bond Fund for the Washington
Avenue Revitalization Project from 5th to 17th Streets.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of October , 1980.
