RESOLUTION NO. 80-16443
RESOLUTION ORDERING HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT FOR
MARSEILLE DRIVE FROM VERDUN DRIVE TO RUE
GRANVILLE AND DESIGNATING SAID IMPROVEMENT
TO BE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-539:
AND PROVIDING FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT TO BE AN
ASSESSABLE PROJECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SEC-
TIONS 29 AND 30 OF THE CITY CHARTER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Commission hereby
setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and
30 of the City Charter:
H-539: Marseille Drive from Verdun Drive to
Rue Granville to be paved and where
heretofore paved to be repaved to a
width of 47 ft. with a bituminous
wearing surface on a 10" limerock
base and improved on both sides with
concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street is in the Miami View-
Part 3, Isle of Normandy Subdivision
shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book
40, Page 33, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file
with the City Clerk, plans and Specifications of said Improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an esti-
mate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other sur-
veys , the inspection and superintendence of the work, the pre-
paration of plans and specifications and estimates , the print-
ing and publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services , abstracts
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-539
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting
on Marseille Drive from Verdun Drive to Rue
Granville.

This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings ,
assessments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-539 , and
the property against which assessments therefor may be
made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District
H-539.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF November , 1980.
