A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING RESOLUTION NO. 80-16443 , ORDERING
NEW HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT H-539 DISTRICT H-539
WHEREAS, the City Commission by resolution passed and adopted on the
5th day of November 1980 , ordered the Highway _
Improvement H-539, DistrictH-539 , and the City Engineer has prepared and
filed with the City Clerk plans and specifications of such improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
incidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by publication
as required by the City Charter has been made that the City Commission would
on the 3rd day of December 1980 , at the City Hall , at 2:30 P.M.
receive and hear objections of all persons interested to the confirmation of
said resolution ordering said improvement, and no objections having been pre-
sented at the time and place aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said City Commission ordering said
Highway ImprovementH-539 , District H-539 , be and the same
is hereby confirmed, and the City Commission does hereby declare its intention
to levy a special assessment against the lands comprising said DistrictH-539
to cover part of the cost and expenses of said improvement, and for the purpose
of advancing such costs and expenses, $89,433.53 is hereby appropriated
from $260,000 5/28/68 Street Paving bonds , said Fund to be reimbursed to the
extent of the proceeds of said special assessment, and the City Commission hereby
declares its intention to proceed with such improvement with/without contract.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of December 1980 .
