A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
ABANDONMENT OF THE EAST-WEST ALLEY IN
BLOCK 11 OF BISCAYNE POINT, ACCORDING
TO THE PLAT THEREOF AS RECORDED IN PLAT
BOOK 14 , PAGE 35 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property described above
and further described as Lots 2 through 15, Block 11 of BISCAYNE
POINT subdivision have petitioned the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach to vacate the 20 ' East-West alley described on the
plat; and
WHEREAS, said alley has been abandoned by the public;
and
WHEREAS, the vacation of the subject alley is deemed
to be in the best interest of the City of Miami Beach and its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works department recommends that the
City retain a ten (10 ' ) foot utility easement;five (5 ' ) feet on
either side of the center line of the subject alley;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City surrenders all its
right, title and interest to the East-West alley in Block 11 of
BISCAYNE POINT according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 14 at Page 35 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida
subject to the retention of ten (10) foot utility easement consisting
of five (5) feet on either side of the center line of the subject
alley.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of January 1981.
