A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING BOARD TO
AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1891 REGARDING
THE DELETION OF THE COOKING FACILITIES PRO-
HIBITION WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF SLEEPING
UNIT.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach,
at a Public Hearing held on September 25th, 1980, approved the
proposed amendment to the City' s Zoning Ordinance No. 1891, re-
garding the prohibition of kitchen facilities within the defini-
tion of sleeping unit; and
WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly
transmitted to the City Commission pursuant to Section 16 of said
Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public Hearing for the
consideration of the aforementioned proposed amendment to said
Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held before the City
Commission in its Chambers on the Third Floor of City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida beginning at 2 : 30
P.M. on the 4th day of February, 1981, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to publish appropriate Public Notice of said
Public Hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all interested
parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of January , 1981.
