SUBJECT: Landscaping Improvements at So
The purpose of this LTC is to notify the City Commission that the Parks and Recreation
Department is temporarily closing some areas of South Pointe Park to perform
landscaping improvements on the hills.
The scope of the project includes sod removal, surface grading and the installation of new
sod. Following grading and installation, the newly sodded areas will remain closed for an
additional period to allow for proper rooting and establishment.
The project will take place in phases, to minimize the impact on park patrons and is
expected to be completed by May 17, 2019, weather permitting.
