RESOLUTION NO. 81 -16552
RESCINDING THAT PORTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 80-16351
AUTHORIZING S. Z. BENNETT TO ACQUIRE THE ANCHOR HOTEL
AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
WHEREAS, on August 6 , 1980 , the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, authorized S. Z. Bennett to acquire
the Anchor Hotel and adjacent properties (1587 and 1575 Washington
Avenue) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it desirable to
reconsider its prior authorization of acquisition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the portion
of Resolution No. 80-16350 , passed and adopted by the City
Commission on August 6 , 1980 , authorizing the acquisition of the
Anchor Hotel and adjacent properties is hereby rescinded.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1981.
