RESOLUTION NO . 81-16561
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF
GOAL POSTS TO MIAMI BEACH SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
WHEREAS , with the purchase of new goal posts at
Memorial Field , the old goal posts were removed and are
now excess property ; and
WHEREAS , Mr . Charles Fieldson , Athletic Director
of Miami Beach Senior High School has written requesting
that we donate these goal posts to the school ; and
WHEREAS , this donation would allow Miami Beach
Senior High School to hold soccer and football practice
at their school , and
WHEREAS , this would significantly improve the
condition of Memorial Field since Miami Beach Senior
High School would hold fewer practices there ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , THAT the goal posts recently
removed from Memorial Field be donated to Miami Beach Senior
High School .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of February , 1 981 .

With the purchase of new goal posts at Memorial Field ,
the old goal posts were removed and are now excess
