A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CONVENTION CENTER
LEASE AMENDMENT WITH FELIX ZABALA FOR THE USE
OF ROOM 100 , NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER ON MARCH 13 , 1981.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH has previously authori-
zed execution of a lease agrement with Felix Zabala for use of
certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami Beach, to
wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
BOXING
on MARCH 3rd and 16th, 1981.
and
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement to permit a change of the 2nd event to March 13th, 1981 ,
and
WHEREAS the Commission has on March 4 , approved said
agreement, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof ,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to exe-
cute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and on behalf of
the CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of April , 1981.
