A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE CONVENTION CENTER
LEASE TO MULTI-HOUSING WORLD FOR THE USE OF
ROOM 100 , MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER NORTH
HALL, MARCH 12-13 , 1981. (After the fact)
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH has previously entered
into lease agreements with Multi-Housing World, hereinafter refer-
red to as LESSEE, for use of certain premises and facilities of
the City of Miami Beach, to wit:
ROOM 100 NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER
for the event known as:
CONFERENCE FOR BUILDING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS
(Sponsored by Multi-Housing News)
and
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No.8918 , a copy
of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same is hereby accepted and ratified, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to exe-
cute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of an on behalf of
the CITY.
