A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH ICE FOLLIES AND HOLIDAY ON ICE,
INC . FOR THE USE OF THE NORTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON APRIL 24
MAY 4 , 1981 .
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
ICE FOLLIES AND HOLLIDAY ON ICE, INC .
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
OCTOBER 2, 1980
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
ICE FOLLIES AND HOLIDAY ON ICE SHOW
on
and
WHEREAS , said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in 3/20/81 Amendment to Contract, a copy
of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted, and incorporated herein, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and on behalf of
the CITY.

, This letter will serve as an Amendment to Contract dated October 2 ,
1980 for °'ice Follies and Holiday on Ice" Show to be held in the North
Hall of the Miami Beach Convention Center, April 24-May 4, 1981 whereby
lessee wi l l add two (2) shows to said contract for a total of ten (10)
shows as follows :
Show Days:
April 28, 29, May 1 , 1981 One (1 ) performance per day
April 30 and May 3, 1981 Two (2) performances per day
May 2, 1981 Three (3) performances per day
at an additional cost of Four Thousand and no/100 ($+,000.00) Dollars
for a total minimum guarantee of Twenty Thousand and no/100 ($20,000.00)
Dollars.
Payments will be changed to read:
Two Thousand and no/100 ($2,000.00) Dollars deposit on execution
and delivery of this instrument, receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged; Eighteen Thousand and no/100 ($18,000.00) Dollars
payable on or before April 24, 1981 ; and any balance due payable
on or before 10:00 p.m. , May 3, 1981 .
All other terms and conditions of the existing agreement to remain the
same.
