A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH I .B.S . FLEA MARKETS, INC. (TRADE
SHOW DIVISION) FOR THE USE OF THE NORTH HALL
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER ON AUGUST
9-14 , 1981.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
I .B.S . FLEA MARKETS, INC. (TRADE SHOW DIVISION)
WHOLESALE MERCHANDISE SHOW (CLOSED TO PUBLIC)
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
MARCH 14 , 1981
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
I .B.S . WHOLESALE FLEA MARKET (TRADE SHOW)
on AUGUST 9-14 , 1981
and

WHEREAS, said LESSE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in ,- ' .7; n Memorandum-No. , a copy
of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CI=Y 44F MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing

ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same.me s hereby accepted and approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and on behalf of
the CITY.

This letter will serve as an Amendment to Contract dated January 23,
1981 between I . B. S. Flea Markets, Inc. , lessee, and the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, lessor, for I , B. S. Wholesale Flea Market
(Trade Show) to be held in the North Hall of the Miami Beach Conven-
tion Center, August 9-114, 1981 whereby you are changing the name of
the lessee to I . B. S. Flea Markets, Inc. (Trade Show Division) and
the name of the event to "Wholesale Merchandise Show (Closed to
Public) ."
All other terms and conditions of the existing Ageement to remain the
same.
This letter is being sent to you in triplicate. Please sign all
three copies where indicated and return to this office immediately so
that we can have it properly executed. A copy will be returned to
you when completed.
