A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH AND MARION J. VARNER AND
ASSOCIATES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PHASE I SCOPE
OF SERVICES AT A FEE OF $50 ,000 . 00 .
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has requested
Consultant services to conduct a study to select a site, design a
structure, and determine cost of construction of a new police
facility; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it to be in the best
interest of the City to enter into an agreement with Marion J.
Varner and Associates for such services at a fee of $50 , 000 . 00 for
Phase I Scope of Services as presented to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the said
agreement for and behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1981.
