A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, WAIVING THE GREENS FEES
FOR MIAMI BEACH SUN & FUN COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENT
COMMITTEE. (October 17, 18, 19, 1981, Bayshore Golf Course)
WHEREAS, for the reasons more particularly set forth in
Commission Memorandum No. 9124 , the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach finds it in the best interest of the City to waive the
greens fees for Miami Beach Sun & Fun Collegiate Tournament Commit-
tee; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the City waive said
fees, and the City Attorney has approved same as to legality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the greens fees for the
Miami Beach Sun & Fun Collegiate Tournament Committee be waived.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 8th day of July , 1981,

SUBJECT: WAIVING OF GREENS FEES FOR
MIAMI BEACH SUN & FUN COLLEGIATE TOURNAMENT
Attached is a letter from the Miami Beach Sun & Fun Collegiate
Tournament Committee requesting the privilege of holding their
tournament at Bayshore Golf Course on October 18, 1981 through
October 20, 1981. In addition, they will have a practice round
on October 17, 1981 from 10:30 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. They have
verbally requested that greens fees related therto be waived for
this event.
This tournament has been approved in recent past years , along with
waiving of its green fees.
RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE
