RESOLUTION NO. 83-17441
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING
THEIR APPRECIATION TO THE GREATER MIAMI
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TOURIST COMMITTEE AND
RATIFYING THEIR SUPPORT OF THE EXPANSION OF
THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER AND
ESTABLISHING AS A PRIORITY THAT THE NEXT
PEOPLE MOVER LINKAGE BE TO MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Tourist
Committee recommended and approved a Motion supporting the
expansion of the Miami Beach Convention Center and established
as a priorty that the next people mover linkage be to Miami
Beach at its meeting on Marco Island; and
WHEREAS, the City Administration would like to express
their appreciation for the support of the Greater Miami Chamber
of Commerce;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, expressing their
appreciation to the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Tourist
Committee and ratifying their support of the expansion of the
Miami Beach Convention Center and establishing as a priority
that the next people mover linkage be to Miami Beach.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September , 1983.
