A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AGREEING TO RETAIN TIIF
WESTERLY TWO FEET OF THE LOTS ALONG ALTON ROAD
FROM FIFTH STREET TO SOUTH OF BISCAYNE STREET
SO THAT ANY NEW DEVELOPMENT COULD NOT INTERFERE
WITH THE MARINA ACCESS BETWEEN THE PIERS .
WHEREAS, the City is anticipating new development
on the land west of the Miami Beach marina site ; and
WHEREAS , in order for the Marina to he able to proper-
ly function it is necessary to keep a free area along the upland
lots;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
agrees to retain the westerly two feet of the lots along Alton
Road from Fifth Street to South of Biscayne Street so that any
new development could not interfere with the marina access be-
tween the piers.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of September
1983 .
