A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF I!IIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, VACATING AN AREA IN THE
RIGHT OF WAY OF LENOX AVENUE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS :
WESTERLY OF AND ADJACENT TO LOT 12 , BLOCK 47
LINCOLN SUBDIVISION AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 9 ,
AT PAGE 69 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
BEGINNING AT A POINT,SAID POINT BEING THE SW.W.
CORNER OF LOT 12 AS DESCRIBED ABOVE. FROM SAID
POINT OF BEGINNING RUN IN A WESTERLY DIRECTION ALONG
THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF BLOCK 12 PRODUCED WESTERLY A
DISTANCE OF 9 FEET, THENCE RUN IN A NORTHERLY DIREC-
TION ALONG A LINE PARALLEL TO THE WEST PROPERTY LINE
OF LOT 12 FOR A DISTANCE OF 95 FEET; THENCE RUN IN
AN EASTERLY DIRECTION A DISTANCE OF 9 FEET TO A
POINT ON THE WESTERLY PROPERTY LINE OF LOT 12 THEN
ON THE WESTERLY PROPERTY LINE IN A SOUTHERLY DIREC-
TION TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
WHEREAS , Miami Beach Development Corporation has request-
ed permission from the City to build an addition to the Colony
Theatre in order to make the project viable ; and
WHEREAS , the area in which the addition is to be construct-
ed is in the right of way of Lenox Avenue ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach
authorizes vacating an area in right of way of Lenox Avenue described
as follows : Westerly of and adjacent to Lot 12 , Block 47 , Lincoln
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 9 , at Page 69 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida. Beginning at a point , said point
being the S. W. corner of Lot 12 as described above . From said
point of beginning run in a westerly direction along the southerly
line of Block 12 produced westerly a distance of 9 feet, thence run
in a northerly direction along a line paralllel to the west property
line of Lot 12 for a distance of 95 feet; thence run in an easterly
direction a distance of 9 feet to a point on the westerly property
line of Lot 12 then on the westerly property line in a southerly
direction to the point of beginning.

1983 .
