A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AFFAIRS AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, THEREBY
EXTENDING THE GRANT PERIOD FOR THE COMMUNITY
SERVICES BLOCK GRANT FROM SEPTEMBER 30, 1983, TO
DECEMBER 31, 1983.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 83-17280 on March 2,
1983, authorizing the execution of an agreement with the Florida Department of
Community Affairs for a Community Services Block Grant, in the amount of
$12,300.00, for the period April 1, 1983, to September 30, 1983; and
WHEREAS, funds were remaining in the Community Services Block Grant
account subsequent to September 30, 1983;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute a Modification of Agreement between the Florida Department
of Community Affairs and the City of Miami Beach, thereby extending the Grant
period for the Community Services Block Grant from September 30, 1983, to
December 31, 1983.
