A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION CALLING A PUBLIC
HEARING TO CONSIDER THE CLOSING OF CERTAIN LAND LYING
AND BEING WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY BEING
DREXEL AVENUE FROM 11TH STREET TO 12TH STREET, AND
DREXEL COURT BETWEEN PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE AND DREXEL
AVENUE FROM 11TH STREET TO 12TH STREET
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of constructing a Justice Center;
and
WHEREAS, certain streets as appearing in the legal description below are
required for the construction of the said Justice Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be held on December 7, 1983, commencing
at 2:30 p.m. , in the Commission Chambers, City Hall, to consider the closing
of said streets as hereinafter set forth:
That the following described land lying and being within the corporate limits
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, being Drexel Avenue from 11th Street to
12th Street, a 70-foot right-of-way as shown in Ocean Beach Addition No. 3 as
recorded in Plat Book 2 at page 81 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida; and Drexel Court between Pennsylvania Avenue and Drexel Avenue from
11th Street to 12th Street, a 20-foot right-of-way as shown in Ocean Beach
Addition Number 3, recorded in Plat Book 2 at page 81 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 9th day of November, 1983.
