A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI BEACH CITY COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ESTABLISH TWO (2) SPECIAL
REVENUE ACCOUNTS TO OPERATE PROGRAMS FOR EMERGENCY
HOUSING AND TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE IF FUNDS ARE
GRANTED BY THE CHARLES STEWART MOTT FOUNDATION.
WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends that the City apply for
grant monies from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation for two separate grant
programs entitled the Miami Beach Emergency Housing Program and the Miami Beach
Transportation Assistance Program; and,
WHEREAS, a special revenue account is required to be established for each
of the two grants, if received;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager is hereby authorized
to establish two (2) special revenue accounts to be used to operate programs for
emergency housing and transportation assistance if funds are granted by the Charles
Stewart Mott Foundation.
