A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED
STREETS, LYING AND BEING WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
BEING DREXEL AVENUE FROM 11TH STREET TO 12TH
STREET, A SEVENTY (70) FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY AS SHOWN
IN OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NUMBER 3 AND RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOK 2 AT PAGE 81 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND DREXEL COURT BETWEEN
PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE AND DREXEL AVENUE FROM 11TH
STREET TO 12TH STREET, A TWENTY (20) FOOT RIGHT-OF-
WAY AS SHOWN IN OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3,
RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 2 AT PAGE 81 OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, BE CLOSED AND
VACATED AND THAT THE PUBLIC UTILITIES BE
RELOCATED.
WHEREAS the City Commission has been desirous of constructing a Justice
Center; and
WHEREAS certain streets as appearing in the legal description below are
required for the construction of the said Justice Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH:
That the following described land lying and being within the corporate limits
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, being Drexel Avenue from 11th Street to 12th
Street, a 70-foot right-of-way as shown in Ocean Beach Addition Number 3 as recorded
in Plat Book 2 at page 81 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; and Drexel
Court between Pennsylvania Avenue and Drexel Avenue from 11th Street to 12th
Street, a 20-foot right-of-way as shown in Ocean Beach Addition Number 3, recorded in
Plat Book 2 at page 81 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, be closed and
vacated and that public utilities be relocated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December , 1983.
