A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH; AUTHORIZING THE FIRM OF
ZYSCOVICH AND GRAFTON, ARCHITECTS TO MAKE
NECESSARY REVISIONS TO THE PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE 21ST STREET COMMUNITY
CENTER AS AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE UNDER THE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN BERNARD ZYSCOVICH,
ARCHITECT AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
WHEREAS, the firm of Bernard Zyscovich, Architect has completed all
documents as specified in the Agreement dated March 4, 1981;
WHEREAS, circumstances beyond the Architect's control have necessitated
revisions to the documents completed under said Agreement;
WHEREAS, the 21st Street Community Center project now includes a new
structure, site improvements, a landscape pedestrian walkway and seawall repairs
hereinafter designated as the project;
WHEREAS, the Agreement between Bernard Zyscovich, Architect and
Associates and the City of Miami Beach states that such revisions shall be considered
additional services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida;
That the City Commission approves of and authorizes the firm of
Zyscovich and Grafton, Architects (formerly known as Bernard Zyscovich, Architect and
Associates) to perform the necessary revisions to the plans and specifications for the
21st Street Community Center as an additional service for a fee not to exceed $16,185.00.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of December , 1983.
