A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
FROM CONTINGENCIES TO A SPECIAL CAPITAL PROJECTS
ACCOUNT AND PROVIDING ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR
THE DEMOLITION, REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF
BAYSHORE GOLF CART STORAGE BUILDING.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH that:
The City Commission authorizes the transfer of $12,838 from FY 1983-84
contingencies to the Capital Account for Bayshore Golf Cart Storage Building.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1983.

SUBJECT: BAYSHORE GOLF CART STORAGE BUILDING - APPROPRIATION OF
$12,838 FROM FY 1983-84 GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY
On September 21, 1983, the City Commission awarded a bid for the demolition, removal and
replacement of the Bayshore golf cart storage building in the amount of $72,595. The funding
was to come from the 1982-83 Capital Projects budget for $60,000, and the remaining $12,595
from 1982-83 Contingency. Commission Memorandum No. 588-83 is attached for reference.
The balance of $59,757 in the appropriate Capital Projects account was carried forward to FY
1983-84. However, as the purchase order for the contract was not prepared until after the
start of the new fiscal year, it was not possible to encumber and carry forward those funds
that were appropriated from 1982-83 Contingency.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
The Administration recommends that the sum of $12,838 be appropriated from the City's
1983-84 Contingency Fund to provide additional funding for Capital Account No. 013.2907.699
