A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 83-17602,
CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION ON MARCH 13, 1984,
RE. SUBMITTAL OF AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY CHARTER
RELATIVE TO STAGGERED TERMS FOR CITY COMMISSIONERS,
ISSUANCE OF MUNICIPAL BONDS, AND EXPANSION OF THE
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FROM FIVE TO SEVEN MEMBERS, SO
AS TO RENUMBER SAID QUESTIONS FROM QUESTIONS NOS.
1, 2 and 3, to QUESTIONS 2, 3, 4, RESPECTIVELY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 6 of Resolution No. 83-17602 be amended so as to renumber
Question No. 1 (re. staggered terms for Commissioners) as Question No. 2;
Question No. 2 (re. issuance of municipal bonds) as Question No. 3;
Question No. 3 (re increasing number of members of Board of Adjustment)
as Question No. 4.
SECTION 2: That Section 7 of Resolution No. 83-17602 be amended as as to renumber:
Question No. 1 (re. staggered terms for Commissioners) as Question No. 2;
Question No. 2 (re. issuance of municipal bonds) as Question No. 3;
Question No. 3 (re. increasing number of members of Board of Adjustment)
as Question No. 4.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of January, 1984.
