SUBJECT: Rue Vendome — PRISM ACTIVATIN: MAY 23, 2019
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("LTC") is to inform the Mayor and City
Commission that the Administration and Prism Creative Group will launch the second
program at Rue Vendome, Milonga at The Fountain with True Tango, on Thursday, May
23, 2019 from 7PM-10PM.
Prism Creative Group considers themselves "Community Builders", with a focus on re-
branding spaces within Miami Beach by connecting small business growth, existing
infrastructure, and public spaces with new and fresh programming, by making culture
accessible to residents and neighborhoods. They fill creative voids through experiences
and events, and stitch together the story of a city that is transforming before our very eyes.
The process between Tourism and Culture and Prism Creative Group is simple — hone in
on the concept, give it legs with compelling content, elevate it with buzz worthy, integrated
marketing, and bring it to life.
On Thursday, May 23 2019, we will hold Milonga at The Fountain with True Tango, where
we will transform the Normandy Fountain into a taste of Argentina with tango, Argentine
asado, empanadas, choripan and more. Some of Miami Beach's favorite Argentinian spots
will be there, along with local artisan vendors, kid's activities and more.
Additional upcoming programming at Rue Vendome will include:
Rhythm and Flow with NoBe Yoga- June 8, 2019
- A delicious sunset yoga flow on The Rue paired with local musicians for a
next-level wellness and musical experience and selection of flavorful dessert
vendors.
Timeless Soul- September 5, 2019
- A night of live performances, acoustic music, and a brilliant al fresco selection
of local treats and eats.
Marketing and Communication efforts surrounding this will include a press release,
inclusion on the culture calendars, social and digital ads, and being featured in our weekly
e-blast. Prism Creative Group will also be promoting through their marketing and
communications channels. Please find below, the official flyer for the second Rue
Vendome event.
Prism will activate additional programming in Lummus Park, starting in September 2019.
A separate notification will go out regarding that programming.
