A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
WAIVE GREENS FEES FOR THE GREATER MIAMI WOMEN 'S
GOLF ASSOCIATION TOURNAMENTS AT BAYSHORE AND
NORMANDY SHORES GOLF COURSES.
WHEREAS, the Greater Miami Women ' s Golf Association Tournament
Committee is desirous of holding a golf tournament at Bayshore and
Normandy Shores Golf Courses on Tuesday, May 1 , 1984 and Tuesday,
June 12, 1984, respectively; and
WHEREAS, in conjunction with said tournaments, said Committee has
requested that the City waive greens fees for said events; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the best interest of the
City to waive greens fees for said events :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager be and he is authorized
to waive greens fees for the Greater Miami Women' s Golf Association
Tournaments to be held on May 1 , 1984 and June 12, 1984 at Bayshore
and Normandy Shores Golf Courses.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of January ,1984.
