A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HADASSAH-KO ' ACH CHAPTER
USE OF ALEXANDER MUSS PARK FOR A WHITE ELEPHANT
SALE , MARCH 25 , 1984 .
WHEREAS , the Hadassah-Ko ' ach Chapter/Miami Beach Region , has
requested to use Alexander Muss Park , on Sunday , March 25 , 1984 from
9 : 00 A . M . to 3 : 00 P .M . for a White Elephant Sale .
WHEREAS , the Hadassah-Ko ' ach Chapter , a non-governmental
organization , is the largest women ' s volunteer organization in the
United States with over 370 , 000 members . It is involved with American
and Zionist affairs , educational services , youth programs , medical
organizations , and vocational guidance institutes .
WHEREAS , the City Attorney ' s Office has previously determined
that authority for re-sale of goods on City owned facilities must be
obtained from the City Commission .
WHEREAS , the Hadassah-Ko ' ach Chapter will be paying the rental
fee ( $75 . 00 ) , in addition to obtaining required insurance coverage .
This organization has utilized this facility for similar purpose last
year .
NOW , THEREFORE , Be It Resolved By the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach , that authorization be granted to the Hadassah-Ko ' ach
Chapter/Miami Beach Region for the use of Alexander Muss Park on March 25 ,
1984 for a White Elephant Sale from 9 : 00 A . M . to 3 : 00 P . M .
Passed and adopted `th, s 1st day of February 1984 .
