A RESOLUTION AWARDING A GRANT OF $7,292 TO
TEMPLE EMANU-EL FOR UNCOMPENSATED
COMMUNITY SERVICES
WHEREAS, Temple E m anu-el has provided and will continue to provide a
multitude of services of great benefit to the local corn m unity on a non-sectarian basis; and
WHEREAS, the City Com mission recognizes and appreciates the corn m itm ent on
the part of Temple E m anu-el to serving the needs of the corn m unity; and
WHEREAS, the City Corn mission would like to award a grant of $7,292 to
Temple E m anu-el in an effort to reimburse this organization for the services it performs
benefitting the corn m unity and for which it is not otherwise compensated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Temple E m anu-el is hereby awarded a grant
of $7,292 for the uncompensated services it performs for the comm unity and the City
Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue this amount to Temple E m anu-el from
the proper budgetary funds.
