A RESOLUTION AWARDING A GRANT OF $39,301 TO
GREATER MIAMI HEBREW ACADEMY FOR
UNCOMPENSATED COMMUNITY SERVICES
WHEREAS, Greater Miami Hebrew Academy has provided and will continue to
provide a multitude of services of great benefit to the local comm unity on a non-sectarian
basis; and
WHEREAS, the City Com mission recognizes and appreciates the corn m itm ent on
the part of Greater Miami Hebrew Academy to serving the needs of the corn m unity; and
WHEREAS, the City Com mission would like to award a grant of $39,301 to
Greater Miami Hebrew Academy in an effort to reimburse this organization for the services
it performs benefitting the corn m unity and for which it is not otherwise compensated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Greater Miami Hebrew Academy is hereby
awarded a grant of $39,301 for the uncompensated services it performs for the corn m unity
and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to issue this amount to Greater
Miami Hebrew Academy from the proper budgetary funds.
