A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, OFFICIALLY
RECOGNIZING AND SUPPORTING NATIONAL
PRESERVATION WEEK (MAY 14 - 20 , 1984) , AND
ENDORSING THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH'S
PARTICIPATION IN DADE HERITAGE DAYS.
WHEREAS, the annual celebration of National
Preservation Week (May 14-20 , 1984) coordinates preservation
events throughout the County; and
WHEREAS, Miami Beach will be highlighting its
individual preservation accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, these preservation events will bring attention
to Miami Beach ' s history and architecture;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the City of
Miami Beach officially recognizes and supports National
Preservation Week (May 14 - 20 , 1984) , and endorses the City of
Miami Beach ' s participation in Dade Heritage Days.
